Hi Carsten, I'm not sure why it says "no debugging symbols found" as I'm sure I had installed icedove-dbg. How else could that backtrace have line numbers?
At the time, I changed to the latest version of Thunderbird, as it was later than debian/unstable's icedove and still experienced the same problem. Since then, I have abandoned filters altogether, and somewhere in the last two years entirely corrupted my thunderbird config and rebuilt it manually.
