Indeed, there are reverse dependencies. Anyhow, can you please try to temporarily forcibly remove it for testing purposes, to help fix this bug in Debian: # dpkg --force-all --purge gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad ? (That's what I did to confirm #681652 -- I reinstalled immediately after testing, no problem. Sorry, I should have made it clear right from the beginning what exact steps were needed to test this.)
