I have now been bisecting (I skipped the drm tree reset, this is bisect between 3.2 and 3.3-rc1) for one week, and so far only seen hangs on on the debian kernel. While I continue this, someone else could try vanilla 3.2 and 3.2.23 in case this is a bug introduced in stable series.
