Package: imvirt Version: 0.9.4-4 Severity: important imvirt crashes on GNU/Hurd with the following errors:
Error loading ImVirt::VMD::UML: Died at /usr/share/perl5/ImVirt/Utils/cpuinfo.pm line 44. Compilation failed in require at /usr/share/perl5/ImVirt/VMD/UML.pm line 34. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/share/perl5/ImVirt/VMD/UML.pm line 34. Compilation failed in require at (eval 7) line 1. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at (eval 7) line 1. Apparently because /proc/cpuinfo do not exist on Hurd... ImVirt::Utils::cpuinfo just dies when it can't open /proc/cpuinfo. Perhaps it make sense to return something like "UNKNOWN" whenever it is not possible to get CPU type. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: hurd-i386 (i686-AT386) Kernel: GNU-Mach 1.3.99-486/Hurd-0.3 Locale: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages imvirt depends on: ii libimvirt-perl 0.9.4-4 ii perl 5.14.2-12 imvirt recommends no packages. imvirt suggests no packages. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
