I reported the problem from work. I just tested at home and I'm able
to reproduce this "crash while quitting during a links check" and it is
really different setup:
-unstable (up-to-date as of now) instead of testing
-klinkstatus 0.1.3/KDE 3.3.2
-with a different kernel
-the GNOME desktop environment (instead of KDE)
-checking different websites
