I'm investigating if -O0 instead of -O2 gives better results.

I've just tested it in a 32 bit chroot (my working architecture is amd64). And it works in the chroot (not extended tests but at least the creation of an ISO works). There are quite many warning message about pointer type casting at compile time. So maybe there are still some adjustements to make it to work with amd64.
