Thank you for the info. I'll investigate it further and report to
upstream.

I've just tested it in a 32 bit chroot (my working architecture is amd64). And it works in the chroot (not extended tests but at least the creation of an ISO works).

I'm investigating if -O0 instead of -O2 gives better results.

There are quite many warning message about pointer type casting at compile time. So maybe there are still some adjustements to make it to work with amd64.
