Yep.  Out of academic curiosity: do you know why the inconsistency
with bpo (uY versus +Y) and the difference from the result of this
discussion (+deb versions +d) came about?

It's still not needed or a noticeable existing practice.

I think it would be a fine change, but I'd suggest making it a
separate bug.  The +deb70 thing is a higher priority since it could
help new maintainers reading the policy manual to understand package
versions in wheezy.
