There is a new upstream version of Fritzing available here: http://fritzing.org/download/0.7.10b/source- tarball/fritzing-0.7.10b.source.tar.bz2 This update is extremely critical for Ubuntu, as there appears to be an incompatibility between Qt 4.8.3 in the Ubuntu repositories and Fritzing 0.7.7b, which is the version currently available of the software in both Debian and Ubuntu.
