Dear Maintainer, This bug report was also filed in Ubuntu and can be found at http://launchpad.net/bugs/1075231 The description, from Martyn Gigg, follows: Would it be possible to have packages for NeXus version 4.3 for Precise Pangolin and above. We currently use version 4.2.1, the one included with Precise & above, but there is a bug fix that went into 4.3 that would prevent a crash relating to threading for us. It relates to http://trac.nexusformat.org/code/ticket/272: which was fixed in 4.3: * The NeXus API now ensures thread safety, even if the underlying HDF/XML library is not built that way. The current approach would not allow any concurrency in writing, but HDF5 does not support this anyway at the moment. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers raring-updates APT policy: (500, 'raring-updates'), (500, 'raring-security'), (500, 'raring'), (100, 'raring-backports') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.5.0-17-generic (SMP w/1 CPU core) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
