Package: smartmontools
Version: 5.41+svn3365-1
Severity: normal

After upgrading (unfortunately, don't know from which version), my
cronjobs stopped working, all using -t select,cont+SIZE syntax as
described in the manual, e.g:

   # smartctl -t select,cont+35651584 /dev/sdd

   =======> INVALID ARGUMENT TO -t: select,cont+35651584
   =======> VALID ARGUMENTS ARE: offline, short, long, conveyance, vendor,N,
select,M-N, pending,N, afterselect,[on|off], scttempint,N[,p] <=======
   =======> Option -t select,M-N must have non-negative integer M and N

However, the cont+SIZE syntax is clearly described in the manual and did
work for some months before I upgraded. Een the next+SIZE examples form
the manual give similar error messages.

/dev/sdd in the above example is a SATA disk connected to the motherboard
ahci controller, i.e. nothing exotic.
