I do not have anything specifically against Gnome3's UI. While different, I could probably accommodate it. The problem with Gnome3 is that a year after it took over (in Debian testing) ass the main DE, I still can't use it. Not because my hardware is not supported, but because its unreliable (locks up more than crashes, but that's still unreliable).
