Package: mpg321
Version: 0.2.12-1
Severity: normal

HI, I have remarked that the cpu use is really huge of mpg321. Could you
please do smethg. I would like to like mp3 with a low footprint.
  7336 4004 3416 R 48.1 0.8 0:57.62 mpg321

If you compare sox it is the best and lowest cpu

ffmpeg is pretty good with about 10-15%

A review of mpg321 for that would be appreciated if you can find some
time for improvement.

Maybe there are some loops not needed.

Greetings
