Well, I just tried it with the current Debian kernel, and the message
are not there. This could mean two things:
a) The bug originates by the grsec patch
b) The bug is only reported by the grsec patch (due to the extensive
checks).
I'm rather sure that this is b) (because the code is not modified by
simply using a more strict kernel). In that case this is still a bug
present and hence should not be closed.
Did you have any input from upstream?
