FYI, I was hit by this bug when upgrading my own laptop as well.
Removing kde stuff "fixed it".

I found quite dangerous that I was suggested to change the
"APT::Immediate-Configure" option, lucky, I read a bit more about what
was going on, and soon understood about the dependency loop. I don't
expect the average user to have the idea to search the Debian BTS in
this kind of situation.

I'd be really nice to have a fix for this problem soon.
