Hi, I think I am seeing a similar manifestation of this bug. Please let me know if you agree this is the same or if I should report it separately. I have several VMs of different distros, all pretty much the same hardware configuration, with ich6 sound emulation. Recently the Fedora 17 VM started hanging during every boot, 100% cpu used. The guest console reports a kernel error related to sound. If I remove the sound card from the guest hardware configuration it boots fine.
