As an idea for a feature, it'd be good if 50gnuplot-mode.el arranged to
have the example files from the gnuplot-doc package open in
gnuplot-mode. Eg. /usr/share/doc/gnuplot-doc/examples/simple.dem
I've been using the following line which could go with the other
auto-mode-alist bits in 50gnuplot-mode.el
(add-to-list 'auto-mode-alist
'("gnuplot-doc/examples/.*\\.dem\\'" . gnuplot-mode))
I don't think there's any need for a full "/usr/share/doc" in the
pattern. Omitting it helps me when I symlink to a shorter "/doc".
