Hello,

comparing two git revisions between which a file was moved shows the
whole file added (similar to git diff <sha1>..HEAD dir/file). I expect
to see the diff between the version of the file before the rename and
its current state (similar to git diff -M <sha1>..HEAD or git diff
<sha1>:olddir/oldfile HEAD:dir/file).

Seems that git won't implement that
(http://www.gelato.unsw.edu.au/archives/git/0510/index.html#10613
"git-diff-tree rename detection for single file"), thus requesting here.

With kind regards,
Baurzhan.
