I just checked on #debian-release, and adsb (Adam Barratt) seemed amenable to an unblock request for this change. Would you consider preparing an upload to unstable with that one upstream patch ( http://htop.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/htop/trunk/Settings.c?view=patch&r1=286&r2=285&pathrev=286 ) included?
