Unfortunately I cannot modify the Adobe Flash Player to no longer use HAL. I choose "Suggests" and not "Recommends" based on what I read in debian-policy and on what I understand of this bug. I'm not sure about the severity. I don't intend to ask debian-release for an unblock for wheezy, but I don't object against others asking that.
