Category: Not working features Group: None Status: Open >Resolution: Accepted Priority: 5 Submitted By: Charles Fry (cfry) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Hostinfo plugin incorrectly identifies domains Initial Comment: The hostinfo plugin currently uses a very simple regexp to find the domain to query using whois... It takes the last two sections (eg. foo.com out of www.foo.com) unless the TLD is in .(au|uk|jp|nz). Mail::SpamAssassin::Util::RegistrarBoundaries from SpamAssassin 3.0X has a more extensive (and correct) set of rules for doing this.
