Package: gnome-terminal Version: 3.4.1.1-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I've recently upgraded to wheezy from stable; in stable, gnome-terminal would change its cursor from a solid box to an empty box when it lost focus. This appears to no longer be the case. Coupled with Gnome 3's disinclination to provide any clear indication as to which window is currently focused (it changes the colour of the window title text, which is at the other end of the screen from where my cursor is most of the time), this makes it very easy to mistakenly think you're focused and start typing into the wrong window. It would be extremely helpful if you could restore the empty box cursor for unfocused windows. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gnome-terminal depends on: ii gconf-service 3.2.5-1 ii gnome-terminal-data 3.4.1.1-1 ii gsettings-desktop-schemas 3.4.2-1 ii libatk1.0-0 2.4.0-2 ii libc6 2.13-33 ii libgconf-2-4 3.2.5-1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.26.1-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.32.3-1 ii libgtk-3-0 3.4.2-2 ii libice6 2:1.0.8-2 ii libpango1.0-0 1.30.0-1 ii libsm6 2:1.2.1-2 ii libvte-2.90-9 1:0.32.2-1 ii libx11-6 2:1.5.0-1 Versions of packages gnome-terminal recommends: ii gvfs 1.12.3-1+b1 ii yelp 3.4.2-1 gnome-terminal suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
