Package: fuse Version: 2.9.0-4 Severity: important Please immediately remove reloading of udev from fuse.postinst, it does not fix the problem described and cannot do anything good. Rules files are automatically loaded by udev when a rules.d directory is modified.
If you really need to fix this, then the correct solution is to synthesize a change uevent for the device so udev will apply the new permissions. And then IIRC your package would still be broken, because the fuse group is created after installing the rules file but users and groups are resolved to names when the rules are read. Also, please remove everything related to makedev: with very good approximation, every system uses udev. -- ciao, Marco
