whole point of the bug is that I don't know how this tool works!
Meanwhile, closing the bug just hides it from anybody passing who

know and could write the patch for you.
I'm not going to play ping-pong but I still don't understand why you
won't leave it open. Tidying up for the sake of it doesn't seem a
