Hi, It was so long ago I nearly forgot. But yes they run without NTP. I was not sure whether to do the bug report on OpenVZ packages or NTP. I had to remove NTP from from containers so that they would be able to suspend and backup. It's fine without it but fails as I reported if NTP is running. I reported it here since NTP runs fine out of a VZ container.
