I found it difficult to install the realtime module given the (lack of) instructions provided. The simplest way seemed to be to obtain and download kernel sources, make kpkg kernel-image, run module-assistant, then manually copy realtime.ko to the appropriate modules directory, run depmod and then /etc/init.d/realtime start. This involved considerable trial and error. The two cases that I think should be documented are: 1) adding the realtime module to a current, vanilla Debian kernel; 2) adding the realtime module to a customised Debian kernel.
