The problem is an upstream issue.
The current stable release won't compile with valac-0.16.
The next release should be okay though, when it comes out I will
modify the control file accordingly.
I can leave this open in the BTS if you want? (I'd assumed these were
being filed for control files which *incorrectly* depended on older
versions of valac, rather than against ones that reflect actual
upstream issues.)
