Hi Andrew, we try the latest ifupdown and initscripts and we found that:

- If we comment in /etc/network/interfaces the second line like this
# The primary network interface
#NetworkManager#auto eth0
#NetworkManager#iface eth0 inet dhcp
boot stalls 3 minutes every NFS mount, but after they result automatically
mounted.

- If we leave in /etc/network/interfaces the second line like was automatically
configured during installation
# The primary network interface
auto eth0
#NetworkManager#iface eth0 inet dhcp
boot doesn't stall 3 minutes every NFS mount, but after they don't result
automatically mounted and we have to do it manually like
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=674039#31 and
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=674039#39.

- If we remove network-manager everything is ok (boot doesn't stall 3 minutes
every NFS mount and they result automatically mounted).

Regards!

Guido
