I cleaned out the autostart folder more or less completely, besides the fact to keep a docky started and my local script (staring some gmessages and the ibus daemon). After that ssh-daemon works again, at least as it looks for now. OTOH, nautilus is sill segfaulting happily away in libnautilus-fileroller, will send another bug report.
