Package: gnome-terminal Version: 3.4.1.1-1 Severity: normal Hi,
I'm using ncurses applications. They draw lines (e.g. for borders). Gnome-terminal fails doing so: I get garbage. To verify where the problem is, I also ran those applications from xterm and putty: in both putty and xterm things look as they should. An example of the garbage output is: http://keetweej.vanheusden.com/~folkert/fi-screen.png Normally this application looks more or less like this: http://www.vanheusden.com/fi/fi.png -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gnome-terminal depends on: ii gconf-service 3.2.3-3 ii gnome-terminal-data 3.4.1.1-1 ii gsettings-desktop-schemas 3.2.0-2 ii libatk1.0-0 2.2.0-2 ii libc6 2.13-27 ii libgconf-2-4 3.2.3-3 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.24.1-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.32.0-4 ii libgtk-3-0 3.2.3-1 ii libice6 2:1.0.7-2 ii libpango1.0-0 1.29.4-2 ii libsm6 2:1.2.0-2 ii libvte-2.90-9 1:0.30.1-4 ii libx11-6 2:1.4.4-2 Versions of packages gnome-terminal recommends: ii gvfs 1.10.1-2+b1 ii yelp 3.2.1+dfsg-1+b1 gnome-terminal suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
