reassign 580035 ifupdown thanks The init script has been moved to the ifupdown package, so I am reassigning this bug. But I recommend closing it, since we already have more than enough knobs to control the boot process. Just because somebody somewhere could find a feature useful it does not mean that it should be implemented.
