We did actually try -13 on this system- I just spoke with a coworker who confirmed this. We had the same issues, and ended up skipping -12. Not sure if this will do you any good, but here's the output of `uname -a`:

Linux ltsp 2.6.32-6-pve #1 SMP Mon Dec 19 06:55:36 CET 2011 i686 GNU/Linux
