Hi Patrick,as I could not reach you via mail nor IRC, I have file an ITP bug against wnpp for italc2.

I would rather prefer a smooth upgrade of the italc package with upstream version 2.0.0, so rather than uploading a new source package called italc2 I would like to offer co-maintenance of iTalc and perform the upgrade step.
Please give feedback on your preferred approach. Thanks!!!
