This bug log says that the reported problem hapens in 3.0.whatever versions of samba, which we can now consider stone age.
There are vague assumtions that it happens "with few new samba releases" but we don't know which ones. I really highly suspect there is nothing we can do with it unless we have a proof that it is experienced again with a recent-enough version fo samba (3.5.6 or higher). Please reopen if that's the case. --
