I asked upstream before I uploaded enigmail 1.4.1 for icedove 10. He told me that he did not test this combination, but he is not aware of any actual incompatibilities. If the bug is still reproducible, then this would be a clear sign that the bug is not caused by any incompatibility, which would then allow to actually trace the bug down to the commit that introduced it. BTW: I'd like to be able to reproduce this bug, particularly the problem that remains with icedove 10 (The icedove 11 issue is probably because my build was for icedove 10).
