Package: hddtemp Version: 0.3-beta13-9 Severity: wishlist It would help unclutter and shorten log files if hddtemp would skip generating its syslog() entries when the temperature is unchanged since the most recent logged temperature. For even more convenience some hysteresis could be added, so entries would be skipped if the temperature change is less than D degrees, with D=1 or 2. And for *even more* functionality, I'd suggest an option to halt the machine when the temperature exceeds some emergency maximum limit. -- Barak A.
