I think I found solution for that problem (at least it works for me), I attached patch. Apply it from debian directory with -p1, build, install and check if problem is still there. If it won't help try to change --with-boot-tty/--with-shutdown-tty options to another tty (from 7 to 12, because from 1 to 6 will break fonts on that tty), but X session will start there too.
