Hi, I just saw that too, and wanted to report, but checked on some already reported bugs.
What I saw is that you need to create a new terminal tab, then pressing ALT-2, then ALT-1, the terminal gets the keyboard focus again. This happens after switching from one window to another as well (I can't remember if it was with alt-tab or switching with the mouse though).
