wget now uses HTTP 1.1, but still accepts encoded replies without decoding them. This was reported upstream: https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?20362 To clarify, this is not an important bug as wget currently does not send an Accept-Encoding header by default. It only does if explicitly asked using the --header option.
