Joey, This bug has been an issue for far too long. I believe it should be fixed for fresh installs of 2.6-10, but is broken for people that have upgraded from prior versions. Please clear out the data in /var/lib/denyhosts/sync-timestamp and confirm that this resolves the issue for you.
