Package: cron
Version: 3.0pl1-116
Severity: minor
Petty as this may be it may save somebody else some time!
The documentation gives an example:
# Run on every second Saturday of the month
0 4 8-14 * * test $(date +%u) -eq 6 && echo "2nd Saturday"
However this reports:
/bin/sh: -c: line 0: unexpected EOF while looking for matching `)'
/bin/sh: -c: line 1: syntax error: unexpected end of file
The documentation should probably be:
# Run on every second Saturday of the month
0 4 8-14 * * test $(date +\%u) -eq 6 && echo "2nd Saturday"
(note the slash before the percentage symbol)
