Package: liferea Version: 1.8.3-0.1 Severity: normal I noticed that after the recent NMU of liferea opening URLs in an external browser stopped working the way I liked it.
The browser value is set to x-www-browser which points to iceweasel: $ gconftool -g /apps/liferea/browser_id x-www-browser $ readlink readlink -f `which x-www-browser` /usr/lib/iceweasel/iceweasel $ When I open a URL in an external browser (by clicking on it), liferea launches chromium instead. Changing /apps/liferea/brower_id to firefox changes this behaviour to indeed selecting iceweasel. This seems like a bug in the way the new liferea invokes x-www-browser. stracing liferea (with the old setting) shows that it indeed exec()s /usr/bin/chromium instead of /usr/bin/x-www-browser. Could you have a look into this?
