Those questions were: | Is this feature worth the effort? Is the drafted solution applicable? | Are there other prerequisites needed before changes to the gcc | packages can be done? Another option for this case might be multiarch:allowed. However the current multiarch spec does not permit an explicit gcc:amd64 dependency.
