Package: synaptic Version: 0.75.7 Severity: normal --- Please enter the report below this line. --- I enabled multiarch using "sudo dpkg --add-architecture i386" on my amd64 system, and then I called "sudo apt-get update". However, after starting synaptic, every package is still shown just once, and I can not tell from which architecture it is. Nor can I install foreign-architecture packages. I saw Synaptic on a friend's Ubuntu system with multiarch enabled, and the multiarch suffix was shown for packages to fix the problems I mentioned. But somehow this is not enabled in Debian?
