Package: ipw2200-source Version: 1.0.6-6 Severity: normal Tags: experimental
As of the 2.6.13 kernel releases ipw2200-source module fails to get a dhcp lease on some wireless networks. This is quite annoying since I need to enter all the static ip address each time. I think it is something to do with the way some routers work in giving out the dhcp lease, but I am not sure. Quite a few other people seem to be having the same problem. http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.drivers.ipw2100.devel/6316 -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.13.2 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages ipw2200-source depends on: ii debhelper 4.9.11 helper programs for debian/rules ii ieee80211-source 1.0.3-3 Source for the 802.11 (wireless) n ii module-assistant 0.9.10 tool to make module package creati ipw2200-source recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
