Package: scribus Version: 1.4.0.dfsg+r17300-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I am struggling with the recent scribus version: each time I add a new paragraph style, scribus tries to relate this style to my other paragraph styles, the new style becomes the "mother style" of the others. When I try to save a file with such a hierarchy of styles, scribus hangs. When I go through my existing paragraph styles and set them back to independent styles, they lose all style information. In my view, this makes scribus very hard to use, and as I understand it styles are generally the way to use scribus, so I am setting the severity to important. To reproduce: 1. Open new file 2. Open style dialog (F3) 3. Create first paragraph style 4. Create second, different paragraph style 5.
