Package: gjay Version: 0.3.2-1 Severity: normal I've noticed this primarily in analyze-standalone mode, that gjay no longer was able to analyze mp3 files. "strace" revealed there is an error reported by mpg321, but stderr doesn't get through:
Cannot initialize semaphores: File exists Removing the mpg321 package helped. This might actually be an mpg321 bug (but then gjay might need to use mpg123 only instead). In fact, I do get the same error from mpg321 standalone, via mpg321 -w - -b 10000 file.mp3 Cannot initialize semaphores: File exists -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-686-pae (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.utf8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages gjay depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 2.3.93-1 ii libc6 2.13-27 ii libcairo2 1.10.2-7 ii libdbus-1-3 1.5.10-1 ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.98-1 ii libfontconfig1 2.8.0-3.1 ii libfreetype6 2.4.8-1 ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.25.2-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.31.20-1 ii libgsl0ldbl 1.15+dfsg-1 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.10-1 ii libpango1.0-0 1.29.5-1 ii libpng12-0 1.2.47-1 ii mpg123 1.12.1-3.2+b1 Versions of packages gjay recommends: ii mpd 0.16.7-2 Versions of packages gjay suggests: ii vorbis-tools 1.4.0-1 -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
