Package: cupsys-driver-gimpprint-data
Version: 4.2.7-4
Severity: normal

For example, /usr/share/cups/model/gimp-print/4.2/escp2.ppd.gz claims to be
Latin-1:

    *LanguageEncoding: ISOLatin1

but contains lines like

*Resolution 360x90dpi/360 Ã 90 DPI Fast Economy Draft:

where the first multiplication sign is an 'ex', and the second is
U+00D7. Unfortunately, it is encoded as UTF-8.

This confuses gnome-cups-manager (it only reads up to the bogus character).
Similarly, the gnome print dialog displays some unexpected characters
in the paper sizes when it tries to interpret them as Latin-1.

(libgnomeprint2.2-0 is 2.8.2-1)
