I have also tried your new kaffeine package (version
0.5) you have provided on
http://greenfs.mine.nu/files/debs/kaffeine/kaffeine_0.5-1_i386.deb
Unfortunately, I get a warning about the required
libgcc1 version:

I am currently on sarge (testing). However, it seems
that the current version of libgcc1 is also in
unstable only at 1:3.4.3-7, so it wouldn't work there
either.
As the current version of kaffeine shows some nasty
bugs it would be great if the new version could
propagate to sarge before the freeze.
