Thanks for the info. The strange thing is that the locale selection actually looks OK. So, where does the gb_GB setting come from? Can you post the contents of /etc/environment after the reboot. If there's no gb_GB in there, could you grep /etc for that string? Could you also check the logs in /var/log on the installed system for gb_GB and paste relevant parts. We still need to figure out where it comes from of course. ATM I have no idea. /me wonders if maybe it could be a typo in locale-config. Cheers, FJP
