On my machine in the institut I do not so frequent updates, which left it with
machine_with_old_gimp$ dpkg --status gimp Package: gimp Status: install ok installed Priority: optional Section: graphics Installed-Size: 7600 Maintainer: Ari Pollak <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Architecture: i386 Version: 2.0.6-1
The procedure worked fine on this machine. At home I have installed the version as shown in the bug report, which shows the problem. You can find the problematic file including the selection at
